Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, professional, & experienced, full time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team!
We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at Project Chesapeake in one of our Level 3.5 High-Intensity Residential treatment locations for males. This role is vital in delivering exceptional client care within our SUD program, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of medical support as they navigate their recovery.

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at Project Chesapeake in one of our Level 3.5 High-Intensity Residential treatment locations for males. This role is vital in delivering exceptional client care within our SUD program, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of medical support as they navigate their recovery.
Hours:
- Full time
- Monday - Friday from 6:30am - 2:30pm
Responsibilities include:
- Provide direct client care & support in a residential setting.
- Administer medications & injections as prescribed.
- Assist with counting all client's medications at a minimum of twice per week.
- Working with the prescriber to ensure medication refills are ordered in a timely manner.
- Working with the prescriber to ensure clients are compliant with their medications & document if a client is not compliant.
- Working with the prescriber to document all medication changes & ensure the MAR is up to date.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy & outside providers to obtain medical records as needed.
- Collaborate with outside methadone clinics to order medication refills in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate medical records & documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in ongoing trainings & professional development.
Qualifications include:
- Current LPN license in the State of Maryland.
- Strong experience in critical care or behavioral health settings.
- Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
- Excellent communication skills & the ability to work collaboratively as a team.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Computer literate.
- Previous experience in substance abuse treatment is preferred.
