Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy, & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional, full-time, Residential Aide to join our team!

- Full-time
- Monday - 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- Tuesday - 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- Wednesday - OFF
- Thursday - OFF
- Friday - 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- Saturday - 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- Sunday - 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- Is responsible for monitoring all clients throughout their assigned shift.
- Ability to conduct regular "rounds" around the entire property.
- Ensures the daily program / schedule is being followed.
- Assist with new intakes, complete room searches, monitor mealtimes, etc.
- Observes & documents all clients taking and / or refusing prescribed or over the counter medications.
- Monitor & observe supervised urinalysis as needed / scheduled.
- Complete laundry for clients as needed / scheduled.
- Communicates in a professional manner with all other staff & supervisors.
- Keeps all program staff members informed of all client's current challenges or behavioral issues.
- Provides accurate information during shift changes via written & verbal communication in a professional manner.
- Attends team meetings as necessary / scheduled.
- Can quickly adapt to changes in schedules, routines & work assignments.
- Ability to deescalate
- Ability to maintain ethical & professional boundaries with all clients & staff.
Qualifications include:
- Ability to observe, identify, document & inform others if physical, cognitive & behavioral changes are a concern.
- Understands the field of addiction, mental health & recovery.
- Prior experience in a Behavioral Health setting is a plus.
- Open to learning about & understanding ASAM criteria guidelines, Stages of Change, 12 step recovery, etc.
