Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy, & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional temporary Residential Admissions Support person to join our team for the summer!

The Residential Admissions Support role is responsible for assisting the Residential Admissions Manager with administrative duties, answering phones, completing screenings, etc. (See below for full list of job responsibilities). 


Responsibilities include:
  • Creating new client charts, setting up ROI's (Release of Information) in client charts, & creating and setting PIN numbers all within the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system. 
  • Checking Medicaid eligibility & communicating with the Billing team for private insurance verification / eligibility. 
  • Maintain professionalism while communicating when answering phone calls & emails. 
  • Complete phone screenings with referral sources / clients for admission approval into residential programs. 
  • Coordinating with the Medical Director as needed / required for admission approval. 
  • Scheduling bed dates for Level 3.5 & Level 3.1 admission. 
  • Creating & submitting Inpatient Acceptance Letters for legal referral sources as needed. 
  • Communicating in a professional manner with referral sources on a daily basis regarding status of available / scheduled bed dates. 
  • Coordinating with case managers regarding client length of stay recommendations. 
  • Changing locations on dashboards with any updates / required or necessary information. 
  • Updating dashboards with all length of stay dates. 
  • Communicating with Billing regarding discharges & any client charts that need to be closed out. 
  • Communicating in a professional manner with client's family & friends regarding "drop off" dates, times, locations, etc. 
  • Communicating in a professional manner with client's family & friends that call. Taking messages & relaying the message to the appropriate person / location. 
  • Transferring phone calls to the appropriate / correct residential location as needed / required. 
  • Creating Completion Certificates in a timely manner as needed / required. 
  • Any other administrative-related tasks that may be requested.

Required Education & Experience:
  • Familiarity with answering phones & excellent customer service skills. 
  • Ability to stay calm & remain professional in difficult situations or during very busy times. 
  • Administrative experience preferred but not required. 
  • Familiarity with Best Notes (EMR) system is preferred but not required. 

Hours:
  • Flexibility with schedule that we are hiring for - availability can be discussed during the interview process. 
  • Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm 
  • Could possibly be 2 - 3 days per week if unable to work Monday - Friday. 
Pay:
  • $23.00/hr.
